Salisbury Elementary School seeks an organized and collaborative Math Specialist to support the teaching and learning of mathematics in grades K-6. The Math Specialist works with targeted students to increase their mathematical skill and comprehension. The Math Specialist consults with teachers in regards to individual student needs and performance, curriculum planning and assessment, and is adept at managing, analyzing, and planning based on data. A solid grasp of mathematics as well as an ability to differentiate instruction will be essential elements of a successful candidate.
Demonstrated success working with elementary school students is preferred but not required. The Math Specialist will be a key member of the instructional leadership team and should have experience coaching or otherwise collaborating with colleagues to improve instruction.
