Print Production Specialist

Monday – Thursday 7:30 - 5:00 and Fridays from 7:30 - 1:00 (will occasionally work to 5:00 on Fridays)

The vinyl graphics production specialist will work in all areas of our vinyl graphics and wide format print and installation department. They will perform digital printing, cutting, weeding and installation of vinyl graphics and signs on vehicles, windows, walls, floors, etc.

Vinyl Graphics Production Specialist Duties and Responsibilities

Operate Digital Printing and Finishing Equipment

The operator will use various pieces of production equipment and printers to create high-quality signs, banners, decals, posters, etc. The successful candidate will be proficient with computers and printing equipment and also be proficient with measuring and math skills. Also, will be installing full and partial vehicle wraps, as well as wall, window, and other decal graphics.

The Vinyl Graphics Production Specialist should have an aptitude for visual color and print design along with high level of attention to detail. A high school diploma is required. Digital printing and/or graphic design experience would be helpful, but not required. The following skills are essential to getting the job done:

· General Skills – Must demonstrate a POSITIVE, UPBEAT, and PROFESSIONAL attitude. MUST be a team player, self-motivated, reliable, and have EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE skills. Must have an eye for detail and commitment to excellence.

· Computer skills – Need to be well-versed in various computer programs focused on digital printing or have the computer aptitude and ability to be a quick study.

· Physical fitness – Need to routinely lift 25 pounds or more and must occasionally move 50 pounds or more. Sign and vinyl installations will often be outside and on ladders or scaffolding.

· Troubleshooting– When equipment or printing jobs malfunction, operators need to fix them so this candidate should be mechanically and technically inclined and competent.

· Time management – Multitasking and fulfilling print orders in an organized, timely fashion is a critical requirement for the production specialist.

Working Conditions

· Standing for prolonged periods of time - up to 8 hours or more per day.

· Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.

· Work area has air conditioning but will also work outside in heat and humidity as well as on ladders and scaffolding.

· Moderate to loud noise level.

· Fast-paced environment: subject to numerous schedule and priority changes and short notice activity.

· Out of the office installations are often required. Appearance and dress should represent the company image.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $17.00 per hour
