Job Summary and Qualifications

What you will do in this role:

• In this role, you will demonstrate the ability to manage multiples tasks and projects in a productive manner.
• Your role demonstrates interdepartmental support and teamwork through a supportive and collaborative approach.
• You will ensure staff compliance with policies and procedures, mandatory requirements, and licensure and certification requirements.
• You will meet mutually agreed upon performance goals/objectives as listed in the Performance Management Plan.
• You role establishes orientation and annual competency criteria for staff and ensures successful completion.
• You must be able to demonstrate ability to identify strategic management initiatives.
• You must respond in a timely manner to requests for information or follow-up with physician, staff, or patient issues.
• This position entails potential for exposure to hazardous medications as defined by TriStar StoneCrest Medical Center’s Hazardous Drug Policy as either hazardous or antineoplastic. All facility-endorsed risk mitigation strategies for handling hazardous medications must be followed appropriately.

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date
• STABLE must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date

• Previous management experience in a hospital setting required

• Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing

• Current Tennessee RN license

• Masters Degree, or Bachelors Degree, or Associate Degree
