Triple V is Hiring an Ukrainian Outreach Coordinator Near La Jolla, CA

Triple V (https://www.triple3v.org/) is seeking an Ukrainian Outreach Coordinator for a direct hire position in the La Jolla area. This is an onsite role with operations Tuesday through Saturdays, 9:00 am - 5:30 pm.

Through our scholarship opportunities, mentorships, and leadership summits, we help motivate students while celebrating their successes. Unlike many other student advocacy organizations that solely focus on academics, we spotlight a variety of fields, including the performing arts and entrepreneurship.

What will you do:

The Ukrainian Outreach Coordinator is responsible for connecting with the Ukrainian community and building relationships with organizations in order to support the mission of Triple V. The Outreach Coordinator is an excellent communicator with a passion for inspiring youth.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate the Ukrainian community outreach efforts for the organization
  • Meet with inspiring youths and their guardians to learn about their accomplishments and share information about Triple V’s programs and services
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with organizations such as schools, competitions, athletic programs, etc. to promote programs and services
  • Responsible for planning and executing outreach events
  • Research resources for youth; stay on top of trends and available support
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual program and activity reports
  • Assist with special projects as requested
  • Ensure work duties are performed in accordance with company safety policies and procedures; ensure client programs follow safety protocols
  • Represent Triple V’s values on a daily basis

  • Problem Sensitivity - The ability to tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong
  • Troubleshooting - Determine causes of operating errors and decide what to do about it
  • Physical Demands - Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs. at a time; ability to remain stationary for extended periods; push, pull, and bend as necessary

What will your experience and education look like:

  • Mandatory that you speak Ukrainian with a preference for candidates of Ukrainian origin for cultural and social competency.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communication or Business preferred
  • Previous customer service work experience
  • Prior nonprofit experience is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

What will your work environment be:

  • Onsite, Indoor office setting
  • Frequent use of office equipment, including computer, keyboard, and mouse
  • Occasional travel to schools - travel is reimbursed 

What we offer:

  • Top-tier Health, Dental, and Vision 99% paid by Triple V
  • 80 hours/year vacation (prorated 1st year)
  • Classification: Nonexempt
  • Rate: $24-$26/hr
