YOUR PURPOSE AS A PLUMBING MATERIALS MANAGER

As a Plumbing Materials Manager, you ensure that our company spends money wisely and that our techs have all the equipment they need to succeed. Thinking strategically, you effectively manage all material aspects, from creating quotes and purchasing items to receiving and delivering them to the proper area. You diligently manage all tools and major equipment in our inventory and oversee warehouse, vehicle, and tool maintenance. For every job, you order all the necessary tools and equipment, ensuring that you stay within the budget and receive competitive pricing on all the materials.

When ordering these materials, you create accurate purchase orders for the suppliers, and you thoroughly check deliveries to make sure each order is properly filled. You then distribute the materials to where they need to be, whether in work trucks, our warehouse, or a job site. On a daily basis, you communicate with staff from various departments, sharing relevant information with them to keep projects moving smoothly. You also provide the financial department with accurate documentation of all your purchases. You take great pride in performing this essential job and helping our company succeed!
