Tripalink is Hiring a Senior Acquisition Analyst Near Los Angeles, CA

Tripalink is seeking an experienced Analyst to join our Acquisition team.
We are seeking a motivated team player with a strong work ethic that offers exceptional interpersonal and problem-solving skills. The Senior Investment Analyst is responsible for acquiring multifamily development or value-add projects in accordance with Tripalink's core values. The Senior Acquisition Analyst should also be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
In this role, you'll serve on the Investments deal team and be responsible for handling the majority of the financial modeling, market research, and underwriting of an investment. You'll also support the transaction due diligence and closing processes and help to monitor existing investments.
Responsibilities.
    • Performing complex financial analysis and valuations for ground-up development and/or value-add projects
    • Lead due diligence streams and transaction closing
    • Writing investment committee memorandum and presenting investment recommendations
    • Conducting extensive market research for new opportunities
    • Work closely with senior team members, senior management, Tripalink affiliates and investors
    • Assist in the asset management functions of the existing portfolio of transactions
    • Contribute to monthly and quarterly portfolio reports for Investment Committee, Investors and Senior Management
    • Perform other duties and ad hoc tasks
Qualifications.
    • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Real Estate, Business, Finance or related field required. Master's Degree in Real Estate, Business, Finance or related field preferred.
    • Experience: Minimum two years' experience in real estate finance, investment banking, M&A, and/or private equity. Understand basic zoning and real estate metrics.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required.
    • Entrepreneurial aptitude combined with a strong work ethic and the desire to learn.
    • Ability to read and understand complex legal contracts and financial documents.
    • Ability to think critically and creatively, and execute sound judgment.
    • Excellent communication and team leadership skills.
    • Skill in both verbal and written communication.
    • Ability to work effectively with all levels of employees while inspiring respect and credibility.
    • Ability to perform multiple tasks in a complex operating environment.
    • Detail-oriented with the ability to follow directions accurately.
    • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft 365
This Position Also Requires
    • Valid driver's license.
    • Flexibility in days and hours worked.
    • Travel and overnight stays.
    • Ability to lift or move up to 20 pounds. Hearing and visual ability to observe and detect signs of emergency situations.
    • Fluency in English both verbally and non-verbally.
    • Attendance: This full-time position is exempt and requires the ability to be present and available during business hours to meet company and department needs. Additional hours or flexible schedule may be required. The position is in-person .
