Job Title: Warehouse Associate
Job Objective: The warehouse associate is expected to consistently model behavior that aligns with the vision, purpose, and core values of Trinity Surfaces. This individual in this role supports the safe and effective execution of the department mission to receive material, manage inventory, and ship orders- promptly and accurately.
Responsibilities
- Delivers consistent, reliable, and professional support to the warehouse operation.
- Prioritizes customer relationships. Helps create a welcoming, caring, and responsive atmosphere within the warehouse operation. Establishes and maintains quality, professional relationships with fellow employees, internal customers, and external customers.
- Consistently shows an enthusiasm to work on the warehouse floor and serve our customers until the job gets done.
- Supports an atmosphere of safety and compliance. Adheres to established safety policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Demonstrates basic Epicor P21 subject matter knowledge- both desktop WebUI and WWMS.
- Embraces a culture of change and innovation within the warehouse operation. Consistently utilizes WWMS technology during receiving, inventory, and shipping functions.
- Accurately receives purchase orders, containers, RMAs, production orders, and transfers within 24-48 hours. Consistently uses WWMS technology during receiving functions.
- Promptly communicates any/all inbound discrepancies to primary internal customer(s).
- Helps maintain an accurate and organized warehouse inventory by strictly adhering to established processes and procedures.
- Helps execute the daily discipline of warehouse cycle counting and/or inventory reconciliation while using WWMS technology.
- Helps maximize warehouse inventory space. Optimizes the material flow, layout, processes, and storage capacity within the warehouse.
- Helps maintain a clean and organized warehouse- both inside and outside of the building. Helps create a warehouse environment that exudes pride of ownership.
- Accurately pulls outbound pick tickets and transfers on or before required date. Consistently uses WWMS technology during shipping functions.
- Builds secure, professional pallets [in accordance to company standards] for outbound shipments.
- Promptly attends to the needs of our front counter / will call customers. Accurately pulls orders and loads customer vehicles. We never allow a customer to load/his own vehicle.
- Displays basic product knowledge. Demonstrates ability to understand the features and benefits of our products.
- Exhibits proficiency of forklift operation and other warehouse equipment and machinery.

Requirements
- Intermediate Computer Experience (outlook, excel, word).
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
- Forklift experience required.
- Must be detail oriented.
- Warehouse experience preferred.
- Experience in the tiling or construction industry highly preferred.
