Job Objective: The System and Software Administrator is responsible for maintaining the systems for optimal performance and monitoring. Following up on notifications as to issues and problems. The administrator will monitor backups to ensure disaster or backup reliability. They will work together with other stakeholders to test new software or updates to that software before rolling it into production. This position requires initiative to proactively act on possible problems to avoid downtime for the company. Learning and maintaining new hardware systems will be essential for continual development.
