Job Title: Pro Shop/Showroom Account Manager
Job Objective: The primary responsibility of the Pro Shop/Showroom Account Manager is to assist walk-in clients at the Pro Shop, meeting the budgeted goals and developing customer relationships, turning customers into clients. As Showroom Account Manager you will follow an activity plan format to assure that activities are effectively promoting profitable sales and relationship building is occurring.
Daily Tasks:
Plans and executes a daily activity plan designed to assist in meeting sales and profit center customer service objectives.
Utilizes the activity management tool, P21 CRM, as an integral part of customer service process, communicating with the sales team, as necessary.
Makes certain each contact, customer or client understands that we appreciate their business.
Customer Communication
Confirms that all vendor confirmations exactly match our purchase order and makes any necessary adjustments to ensure 100% accuracy.
Notifies manager and documents any instance where the customer does not seem satisfied with the resolution or where the relationship appears to be damaged.
Provides nurturing to customer relationship, building service and support to our contacts, customers and clients in a manner that adds perceived value to the process.
Daily Tasks
Inputs and confirms all sales orders within 24 hours.
Ensures that each invoice is priced appropriately.
Answers incoming phone calls within 3 ring guidelines.
Communicates specific delivery instructions to warehouse.
Apologizes, on behalf of the company, for any customer service problems and resolves in a manner that assures the relationship is improved.
Notifies manager and documents any instance where the customer does not seem satisfied with the resolution or where the relationship appears to be damaged.
Ability to quickly find and utilize product literature and specifications (i.e. Schluter, Mapei, etc.).
Sends order confirmations to customers within 24 hours.
Collects 50% deposit on all special orders.
Reviews Open Order Report daily to help manager customer service process.
Meetings
Attends scheduled meetings and makes a positive contribution.
Meets with manager on a regular basis to discuss pertinent customer activity.

Qualifications:
Proficient with Microsoft Office (outlook, excel, word)

Ability to multitask
Epicor’s Prophet 21 ERP experience preferred
