Tulsa Manufacturing company is looking for a shipping/receiving clerk- forklift operator

SUMMARY:

Responsible for packaging, loading/ unloading, and inspection of material, supplies, and miscellaneous products; counting and documenting accurate inventory of material; and communicating with vendors’ and customers’ logistics departments. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Coordinates incoming and outgoing shipments of materials, supplies, and miscellaneous products.

-Performs inspections of material upon receipt and completes documentation per instructions. Prepares materials for shipment, including packaging and staging.

-Organizes storage of materials to facilitate a smooth workflow.

-Utilizes material handling equipment to load and unload trucks.

-Tracks inventory and properly documents material transfers.

-Drives truck to pick up/ deliver at customer and vendor locations.

-Examine shipment contents and compare with records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy.

-Manually or mechanically load or unload materials from pallets, skids, platforms, cars, lifting devices, or other transport vehicles.

-Position lifting devices under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, or boxes and secure material or products for transport to designated areas.

-Inspect product load for accuracy and safely move it around the warehouse or facility to ensure timely and complete delivery.

QUALIFICATIONS:

-Must have valid driver’s license and good driving record.

-Computer skills which include Manufacturing Software; Excel; Inventory Software; Order Processing Systems; Word, Outlook.
