Friday 8 am to 5 pm | Temp to Perm

Job Summary:

• We are hiring full-time Medical Assistants for our Family Medicine and Internal Medicine department.
• The Medical Assistant is responsible for vitals, injections, and basic triage and should be able to assist in
• minor procedures. In addition, candidates should possess a solid understanding of medical terminology,
• good customer service skills, computer skills, phone experience, and good written/verbal communication
• Collect blood, tissue, or other laboratory specimens, log the specimens, and prepare them for testing.
• Perform routine laboratory tests and sample analyses.
• Authorize drug refills and provide prescription information to pharmacies.
• Operate x-ray, electrocardiogram (EKG), or other equipment to administer routine diagnostic tests.

 Skills:

• Will need to have at least one year of experience working as an MA in a clinic setting.
