Trinity Social Services is seeking a Therapist/Clinician. The candidate must have knowledge of DSM-V criteria, develop SMART Treatment Planning, be highly organized, and proficient with MS Word and Outlook. Basic knowledge of Core/IFI services is required. Candidate must have prior knowledge of GA Medicaid System of Care (mental/behavioral health).

Professional Title:

LMSW, LAPC, APC, LAMFT, AMFT or (Supervisee/Trainee – MSW, MFT, PC, MS, MA)

Minimum Qualifications:

• Person must be licensed in the state of Georgia as a LMSW, LAPC, LAMFT or S/T (Supervisee/Trainee). One (1) year experience providing (in-clinic or out-of-clinic) therapy.
• Master’s degree in psychology, sociology, or mental health counseling.
• Person must have a minimum of 1-year experience working with clientele suffering from MH/SA issues and their families.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain confidentiality of records relating to clients' treatment
• Gather information about community mental health needs and resources that could be used in conjunction with therapy
• Plan outreach and referral activities in surrounding communities
• Plan and conduct programs to prevent substance abuse or improve community health and counseling services
• Assess clients' mental condition based on review of client information, interviews, observation, tests, and collaboration with other staff members
• Serve as a client advocate to coordinate required services or to resolve emergency problems in crisis situations
• Develop and implement treatment plans based on BHA, clinical experience, and knowledge
• Conduct initial family assessments and refer clients, or family members to community resources or to specialists as necessary
• Responsible for completing discharge summaries and monthly summary reviews when requested
• Properly documented crisis intervention, anger management, behavior modification, and safety planning

Requirements:

• CPR training certificate
• CPI training certificate
• Must be dependable, have a computer with internet services and the ability to accurately and sufficiently write BIRP notes.
• Familiar with Carelogic a plus.
• Must be able to provide services to clients and families during NON-traditional work days and hours.
• Self-starter, highly organized and able to work well with employees at all levels in the organization.
• Readily available to receive supervision from an appropriately licensed/credentialed professional.
• Must attend in office treatment team meetings.
• Must have reliable transportation and pass various background checks to productively provide services in the community.
• Must have previous work history or education regarding interactions with adolescents.
