School Database Administrator The School Database Administrator, under the direction of the Head of School, shall be responsible for learning and implementing the SIS software, teaching and training faculty and staff in the use of the software, and utilize the software for generating reports, monitoring academics, and other tasks as directed by the Head of School, division principals, and academic deans.
General Responsibilities include:
Establish working relationship with the SIS provider company.
Provide training and support for academic faculty and staff.
Provide support for business office, admissions, communications, athletic department, and food service, to assure compatibility with third party vendors.
Provide assistance to ensure good use of the software program and in tracking statistical data.
Facilitate and assist with the parent and student portals.
Provide assistance to the communications department.
Develop and provide to the administration key indicators drawn from processes including: surveys, evaluations, assessments, and inquiries with direction from the Head of School, division principals, and academic deans.
Qualifications
Evidence of an authentic and active Christian walk
Excellent interpersonal skills
Knowledge of computers, databases, networking, and office practices.
High level of accuracy in data entry and management.
Communication skills to communicate with school personnel, students, and parents.
Ability to perform common arithmetical functions.
Keeps information confidential.
Needs limited supervision and is able to work independently and as a part of a team.
Able to make decisions and solve problems with school data and information provided.
Requirements
