Responsibilities:

Trinity Delray Lutheran School is currently recruting for a Middle School Math Teacher. This is an opportunity to join a strong, collaborative team of teachers.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing outstanding instruction in science to grades 6-8
• Plan, prepare and deliver lessons and materials to students; conduct activities for a balanced program of instruction, demonstration, and work time that enable student learning by teaching according to the educational needs, abilities and achievement levels of the students
• Establish clear objectives for all lessons, units, and projects and communicate those objectives to students and parents
• Integrate Biblical principles and the Christian philosophy of education through the curriculum and activities
• Evaluate student performance, giving timely feedback, and keep grades current in our school management system
• Provide and enable a healthy learning environment
• Establish and enforce behavioral expectations to maintain order in the classroom
• Communicate with school stakeholders in a timely and professional manner
• Commit to ongoing professional development
• Attend staff meetings and serve on committees as required
• Be able to communicate professionally and effectively in verbal and written form
• Be present at school functions

Requirements include:

• Must be a U.S. citizen or have the legal right to work in the United States
• Hod a Bachelor's degree or higher in education from an accredited college or university
• Active teaching credential (does not have to be from Florida)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $54,818.00 - $110,000.00 per year
