Job Description: Data ModelerTeam: Cyber Data ManagementAs a Data Modeler in our Cyber Data Management team, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing data models that aid the understanding, use, and protection of critical data streams across the corporate environment. You will work closely with cybersecurity experts and data scientists to ensure our global data architecture supports and enhances our cybersecurity measures. This position requires a blend of analytical skills, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of data structures.Day to day responsibilities will include design, implementation, and/or management of comprehensive data models to support data management objectives. Collaboration with technology teams to develop secure and reliable data transmission and storage solutions. Analyze and translate business needs into long-term data model solutions. Evaluate and improve existing data structure to enhance data value and identify targets for risk reduction. Work with cybersecurity analysts to integrate security measures into data models.Preferred Qualifications:• Bachelor’s or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Data Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.• Proven experience in data modeling, data architecture, or a similar role.• Strong understanding of database structure principles and data modeling standards.• Experience with data modeling tools such as: Excel, Visio, MySQL, Python, Oracle, Big Query, Talend, Power BI, Axonius.Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:• Action Oriented: Taking on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm• Collaborates: Building partnerships and working collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives• Communicates Effectively: Developing and delivering multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences• Cultivates Innovation: Creating new and better ways for the organization to be successful• Drives Results: Consistently achieving results, even under tough circumstances• Global Perspective: Taking a broad view when approaching issues; using a global lens• Interpersonal Savvy: Relating openly and comfortably with diverse groups of people• Nimble Learning: Actively learning through experimentation when tackling new problems, using both successes and failures as learning fodder• Self-Development: Actively seeking new ways to grow and be challenged using both formal and informal development channels
