Description:
St. Mary Medical Center, a member of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, is looking for a (Pool/per diem) Telephone Operator to join our team!
Schedule: (Pool/per diem) **
Shift: Rotating
flexibility to work days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays
Telephone Operator

• Operation of the Switchboard, which includes the use of Medicall Console software.
• Answers and directs all incoming calls from the public and staff for St. Mary Medical Center
• Answers and responds to Fire alarms, security alarms and codes in accordance with policy and procedure.
• Maintains 24- hour contact with Security
• Collects, provides and distributes the on-call information for St. Mary Medical Center
• Performs all other duties deemed necessary for accurate and proper performance of the Telecommunications Department

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalency (required)
• Telephone Operator or Switchboard experience (preferred)
• Customer Service experience (preferred)
