Shift: Monday-Friday, Day Shift, 8 hours

Position Purpose:
The In-Home Attendant plays a pivotal role in ensuring the well-being and independence of our participants by delivering personalized care services and support.

What You Will Do:

• Provide essential personal care assistance, promoting participant autonomy in daily activities such as toileting, bathing, eating, and grooming.
• Deliver nursing care as directed, adhering to safety protocols and center policies.
• Maintain participant safety through hazard identification and emergency response readiness.
• Offer behavioral support and encouragement, including medication reminders and emotional reassurance.
• Engage participants in recreational activities, facilitate meal services, and assist with light housekeeping.
• Monitor participant health indicators, promptly reporting any changes or concerns to the care team.
• Ensure compliance with infection control and safety standards at all times.
• Accompany participants to medical appointments, providing assistance as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and participant interactions.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED; certification as a nurse assistant preferred.
• At least one year of experience with elderly or frail populations, or completion of PACE organization training.
• Previous experience in long-term care or geriatric programs preferred.
• Physical ability to perform tasks such as kneeling, lifting, and sitting for extended periods.
