Position Purpose:

This Cafeteria Aide is responsible a variety of cafeteria food preparation and service duties including hot food steam table, grill, and sandwich service and cashiering. Performs a variety of food service area setup and closing procedures including sanitation duties.

What you will do:

• Perform cashiering duties according to approved cashiering procedures, waiting on customers quickly and courteously.
• Communicate effectively (written and verbal) with colleagues, patients, and family member.
• Food service duties including, sandwich making, grill work, salad bar prep, cleaning, restocking, etc.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education: High School diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED).
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced customer service operation.
• Experience in a cafeteria type food services operation preferred.
• Ability to pass drug screenings and background checks.
