We are seeking an individual who can “think on their feet” when dealing with the insurance adjusters. We need to be paid what we deserve and not just take what they give us. The candidate we select must have a persistent, determined, and fair approach to dealing with adjusters. This person will be responsible for supplementing their claims and managing 1 to 2 supplementers.
Basic Duties & Responsibilities (partial list):
Manage a portfolio of 80-!00 claims per month in our busy season.
Inspect each job to ensure profit margins are being reached.
Provide insurance company supplemental estimate when needed.
Defend estimates when needed with the insurance company.
Maintain a professional but friendly relationship with the claim’s adjusters.
Work with production and sales on proper documentation.
Communicate with the homeowner concerning our invoice if needed.
About your Manager
You will be working with (not for) a “fair and square” person committed to your success. By the way, he is not a “micro manager” type of person. He expects you to work independently on your own but is always willing to take the time necessary to help you out or back you up when needed.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of Xactimate software experience.
- Minimum 3 years of roofing & siding experience.
- Team management experience is a must.
- Verifiable references.
- Teamwork – Works effectively and productively with others.

- Autonomy – Works effectively and independently without close supervision.
- Assertiveness – Takes charge” when necessary to achieve results.
