Eco Park Groundskeeper (EPG)
Part-time, Seasonal
The EPG will work a regular schedule of 3-5 days per week (10 to 15 hours total) April – September. October – March: 2-4 hours per week (litter, garbage and recycling duties).
Overview:
Perform a combination of duties as directed by the Park Director in order to maintain native plantings and property grounds in a safe and functional condition following sustainable and naturalistic landscaping principles. Assist in other job duties as requested or necessary.

The EPG will maintain Trinity Eco Prayer Park in accordance with the “Vision and Mission” and “Sustainability and Stewardship,” statements included below.
VISION AND MISSION: Trinity Eco Prayer Park is “a place to reflect on how we relate to God, one another and the planet” and to challenge us to find ways to work with nature instead of against it. Sustainable landscape design principles guided the creation of the park which incorporates native plantscaping, and solar power to provide innovative examples of land and natural resource stewardship for others to follow.
SUSTAINABILITY AND STEWARDSHIP: While caring for the park we minimize the use of natural resources including, but not limited to water, petroleum products (gas & oil), electricity generated from nonrenewable resources, and seek a minimal use of non-organic resources such as herbicides, pesticides, fertilizers, plastic and Styrofoam, as well as any products that would have a negative impact on the eco-system of the park and the planet.
