Trinity Consultants Engineering & EHS Workforce Solutions is Hiring an Environmental specialist Near Mountain View, CA

Responsibilities :

  • Build and implement environmental programs ensuring compliance with state, federal, and local requirements.
  • Work on compliance and permitting projects related to Title V, air permitting, NPDES, SWPP, SPCC, RCRA, etc (air, water, and waste).
  • Collaborate with operational teams to achieve compliance and sustainability goals.
  • Write and maintain accurate environmental permits, modifications, and operating procedures.
  • Evaluate proposed facility changes, chemical and physical manufacturing processes and address regulatory requirements as needed.
  • Prepare compliance reports, quantify environmental impacts, and participate in regulatory inspections.
  • Maintain permits and conduct environmental audits and inspections.
  • Lead hazardous waste program, schedule shipments, and conduct inspections.
  • Lead compliance audits and implement follow-up corrective actions to ensure compliance with applicable laws and conformance with ISO14001.
  • Respond to environmental issues internally and externally.
  • Work with site leadership to ensure sustainable systems are implemented / maintained for compliance with district, state and federal regulations.

Requirements :

  • BS in Chemical Engineering or Environmental Engineering strongly preferred.
  • Environmental experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and computer skills.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations, with emphasis on relevant state and federal environmental regulations specific to Ecoservices manufacturing operations.
  • Must be an independent, self-motivated individual with the ability to multi-task and administer a broad range of duties including;

providing timely resolution to issues that arise, counseling / coaching operations personnel, and providing technical interpretation of policies and procedures.
