Trinchero Family Estates is Hiring an Associate Marketing Manager Spirits Near Napa, CA

We are seeking a dynamic, budding marketer with a passion for building exciting brands in the Alc/Bev category. Trinchero Family Estates is the 2nd largest privately owned winery in the United States. We pride ourselves in caring about our people. And we are more than simply wine! This role is to support our Spirits Team – specifically, the Tres Agaves Mixers, Tres Agaves, Tequila, Hanson Organic Vodka, Amador Whisky, and Trincheri Vermouth Brands. It liaises frequently with our dedicated Spirits Sales Team and reports into the Director of Spirits. This is a highly cross-functional role, so successful candidates must be able to collaborate, prioritize, and operate in an organized fashion and with a can-do attitude.

Broad Responsibilities

To be successful in this role, you will excel in the following four areas:

  • Project Management – We are constantly fielding requests from the Sales Field for point of sale material. Communicate these needs and manage deadlines with our Creative Team.
  • Analysis – You will help code Invoices and ensure that we are sticking to our annual marketing budget, as well as participating in regular meetings with Finance regarding the health of our brands. You will also use various internal systems to monitor category, competitive, and brand sales (shipments and depletions).
  • Creativity – Marketing is fun! Marketing Spirits is especially fun! We want your creative ideas – what designs are impactful? Do our social media posts resonate? Are there new trends we should be aware of? We are hiring you for your opinions and look forward to hearing your thoughts. We also need you to be able to help story tell via beautiful and informative PowerPoint presentations.
  • Relationship-building – Given how cross-functional this role is, and that we have a dedicated Sales team, you will need to be able to forge relationships built on strong communication and integrity.

Specific Functions

  • Input Creative design Requests using an internal system called Wrike (we will train you on this).
  • Meet regularly with our designers and Trade Marketing team to ensure projects are being completed well and on time.
  • Code invoices and monitor marketing budgets.
  • Regularly pull data on the performance of our brands via an internal system called PowerBI (we will train you on this)
  • Get trained on/pull data from Circana (scan data)
  • Translate data into compelling slides and storytelling
  • Meet regularly with our Social Media agencies and digital team to ensure impactful content
  • Support the implementation of strategic and tactical brand direction(s)
  • Assist in the development of annual business plans
  • Investigate, quantify and assist in the development and evaluation of regional marketing and sales opportunities
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams (Internal and External Teams) in the development & implementation of advertising and media strategies
  • Coordinate implementation of marketing programs
  • Order samples
  • Strong communication with larger sales organization


Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelors degree in business/marketing
  • Experience: 1 or more years of relevant brand marketing experience within the Consumer Packaged Goods industry; wine/alcohol industry preferred
  • Strong communication skills, to include the ability to forge relationships across the organization at a variety of levels
  • Advanced computer skills (especially the ability to create beautiful PowerPoint presentations to inspire and educate and to use Excel to analyze budgets, sales, and more)
  • Experience with Nielsen, IRI, Circana a plus
  • Strong presentation skills to include the ability to present to management with confidence and clarity
  • Ability to think ‘outside the box’ and reach conclusions based on fact as well as intuition
  • Strong detail orientation and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize without constant direction
  • Experience leading significant projects to drive branding initiatives
  • Can handle multiple competing priorities at any given time
  • Strong problem solving ability
  • Occasional ability to work night/weekend events

Salary Range: $64,480.00 - $92,700.00

The starting pay will be based on several factors, including but not limited to experience, training, education, and geographic location. TFE offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, PTO, wellness programs and fertility and family building benefits. We also provide a 401(k) plan where TFE may make a discretionary profit-sharing contribution.
