We are looking for a 2nd shift Roll Clamp Forklift Operator to move large industrial paper rolls to the production floor or unload railroad cars. You will be operating a Roll Clamp Forklift with the utmost care to ensure efficiency and safety. Your job involves driving through the warehouse and production area. You must be a responsible individual with great experience in driving a Roll Clamp Forklift. The goal will be to ensure that material and products will always be at the right place to achieve maximum efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Unload large rolls weighing approximately 2000 lbs. to 5000 lbs. from the railroad cars.
• Move rolls for storage or shipment.
• Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies.
• Transport product to production workstations.
• Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance.
• Keep updated records of inventory and activity logs.
• Comply with company policies and legal guidelines.
• Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities.

Skills

• Proven experience as a clamp forklift operator.
• Attention to detail and familiarity with industrial equipment.
• Excellent physical condition and coordination.
• Valid certification to operate forklifts.
• High school diploma
• Temp to hire.

Shift

• Monday to Friday-No Weekends
• 2 PM to 10:30 PM/12:30 AM

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
