Our talented staff of more than 450 professionals deliver integrated planning, design, engineering and construction solutions to our clients from our offices throughout Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, West Virginia and Alabama.
Due to MSG's continued growth in our Survey sector, a new opening is available for a Survey Project Manager in Canton, Michigan.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare project proposals and cost estimates
  • Compile and research projects as needed prior to starting work.
  • Analyze deeds and research materials for the production of the survey.
  • Assure that all projects stay on schedule and within budget and discuss any issues/discrepancies with Supervisor if needed.
  • Coordinate with the field crew supervisor your project needs and work with field staff to assure desired product from the field.
  • Perform QA/QC on boundary and topographic projects.
  • Monitor each project to ensure that client is satisfied with the service and product and that all aspects of the scope have been performed fully and correctly

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Bachelor’s degree in surveying or civil engineering
  • Experience with Trimble Business Center is a plus
  • Professional Land Surveying license (Preferred)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and understanding of mapping concepts.
  • Self-motivated with good time management and ability to work outdoors as needed.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Valid driver’s license with approved/acceptable driving history
  • Candidate must have valid and practical experience in surveying and project management to be considered for this role.
