Job Description
Lead Warehouse Associate/Driver
Reports to: District Manager

Classification: Non-Exempt
SUMMARY
The Warehouse Lead will supervise a team of plant associates while performing assigned operations and tasks safely and efficiently in a production environment. This individual will interact with customers, employees, managers and regulatory representatives. In every case, the Warehouse Lead must present themselves with the professionalism and discretion appropriate for each interactive situation. The Lead may serve as a backup driver when needed to safely and efficiently complete customer collection routes with varying schedules and deadlines. Driver/ Plant Worker is to ensure all waste is unloaded from vehicles, the vehicles are decontaminated, and waste is properly staged for scanning and processing. The individual will perform the duties in a safe and productive manner.

PRIMARY JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Safely and efficiently perform assigned operations and tasks in a production environment
Interact with customers, employees, members of Senior Management, vendors and regulatory representatives
Under general supervision, coordinates and conducts daily plant operations and maintains inventory for safety and operation supplies
Support employees, answer questions and keep morale up
Reduce down time
Step into the production line when people are on break and/or vacation
Conducts daily production activities; enters finished goods into inventory and orders supply as needed
May assist with the coordination of workflow and assignments
Investigates, reviews and controls implementation of safety regulations and company policies and procedures
Creates and submits weekly and month end reports as requested
May provide support and direction to less experienced plant employees
Ensure all equipment is working properly
Review and sign manifests and shipping papers
Scan waste and weigh with accuracy
Ensure container type and manifest are 100% accurate
Prepare records of receiving and production as needed
Operate tub wash unit ensuring the wash unit is operating properly
Remove clean tubs from the wash unit, inspect tubs and stack for loading onto assigned vehicle for re-use
Ensure housekeeping issues, e.g., spills cleaned up, the floor is dry and debris not on the floor, etc., are addressed immediately
Maintain relations with drivers and operations staff
Leads and supports the warehouse's continuous improvement process
Establishes clear goals and accountability to direct reports and provides performance feedback on a regular basis
Maintain inventory levels of critical supplies and recording expenses for monthly tracking
Report for and successfully complete all training as required
Support operations in the management of Navusoft
Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Minimum one year of warehouse experience preferred
Pleasant demeanor with other employees, customers, vendors, and regulators
Position requires extensive lifting, walking, bending, climbing, pulling, and pushing
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull heavy carts
Knowledge of barcode scanning; inventory management skills
Knowledge of hazardous materials and OSHA Regulations
Knowledge and ability to operate a powered industrial truck, e.g., forklift
Must be forklift certified
Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
Quickly adapt to changing business demands
Quickly grasp and adapt to new tasks and protocols
Must be able to manage small groups
Licensed for vehicle to be driven (min. Class C); Class A or Class B license also acceptable
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Medical Examiners Card (MEC)
Strong communication skills
Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
Able to work an agreed upon standard schedule
Additional hours as job duties demand
TRAVEL - OTHER
Travel to domestic Trilogy facilities when necessary (less than 10%)
Must have a current, valid driver's license
Able to be insurable under our company's liability insurance policy

Able to speak and communicate proficiently
Able to work in hot and cold conditions
Routine physical exertion: standing, walking, climbing, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, stooping, and bending
