Trillium Staffing is Hiring a Safety Coordinator Near New York, NY
Our client is one of the nations largest single-source providers of lighting and electrical products, electrical services, electrical construction, and energy management solutions. They are now looking to bring on a Safety Coordinator to join their Long Island/Manhattan office. This is a direct hire opportunity with benefits like M/V/D, 401k with a company match after one year, PTO, Holiday Pay, etc. The salary ranges from $75K - $85K depending on experience.
Duties include:
•Eliminate or control at-risk behaviors or conditions resulting from human error, equipment and machine operations which may lead to human injury and/or property damage.
•Investigate incidents involving injury or property damage.
•Coordinate site safety inspections for compliance against OSHA regulations and company policies and procedures.
•Train and educate employees and supervisors on OSHA requirements and company policies and procedures
Qualifications:
•Must be bilingual in English/Spanish
•OSHA 30 AND 500
•Minimum of 5 years' experience in Electrical construction
•Preferred candidates will have knowledge of fleet services and equipment management
•Proficient in Word and Excel
