Overview:
This specific position helps support our physicians and APPs as the first point of contact for patients with medical questions and concerns. The position is a triage role answering calls and then following established protocols to drive decision-making for next step care for the patient. Ideally, candidates will have clinical experience that will enhance their ability to problem-solve for patients but we will consider new grads on a case-by-case basis. This position has the ability to work onsite, from home, or a hybrid with the onsite location options of Norwood or Western Ridge.
This position assists physician and/or registered nurse in providing clinical care and/or supervising care delivered by medical assistants and collaborates with physicians and other health care team members in meeting patient/family needs. This position also implements the plan of care by providing direct basic nursing care in accordance with the LPN scope of practice set forth in the Nurse Practice Act and contributes to the evaluation of patient responses to nursing care and documents in an accurate and timely manner.
Job Requirements:
Graduate of an approved technical, professional, or vocational program in Nursing
Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS)
Licensed Practical Nurse
Current RN licensure is also acceptable
Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
1-2 years experience in a related field
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $29.00 per hour
