Provide quality swim instruction for children and/or adults in a group setting (3 or more participants). Able to modify teaching styles to the age, experience and ability of the customer. Listen and respond to feedback from client's parents/clients to assure the lesson is meeting the customers needs.

American Red Cross First Aid Certified

Job Responsibilities:
Develops individual swimming instruction recommendations based on members' goals and physical abilities. Administers and interprets Amercian Red Cross Group Swim Lessonmaterials as needed.
Promotes safety of pool area, needed rescue/prevention of accidents and injuries. Informs management of safety hazards as they may arise. Communicates with management staff regarding problems and concerns of members and participates in record keeping of the department.
Actively motivates and assists members with their swimming proficiency and overall swimming goals.
Exhibits flexibility with work schedule. Picks up extra time to meet department needs. Changes assignments if needed.
Creates a positive work environment, regularly assists coworkers, gives positive feedback when appropriate, and acts as a mentor to new employees/students.
Creates positive work environment and establishes relationships with key patients/customers, physicians, departments, and staff.
