TriHealth is Hiring a NURSING INSTRUCTOR (MSN REQUIRED) - GOOD SAMARITAN COLLEGE - PART TIME (48HRS), EVENING SHIFT Near Cincinnati, OH

Job Overview:
This position is primarily responsible for the instruction of students in the nursing education program; responsible for classroom and laboratory teaching activities in assigned course. Actively supports an outcomes-based learning centered culture through continued professional development for improvement of self and the college in keeping with the College’s learning-centered values and goals. Reports to and operates under the direction and supervision of the Department Chair. 
Job Requirements:
Master's Degree in Nursing
Registered Nurse
Provide evidence of recognized professional competence 
Working knowledge of the nursing process 
Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Must have either proven or presumptive scholarship in subject matter field
2-3 years experience Nursing in a sufficiently diversified professional nursing setting, to support effective teaching
Job Responsibilities:
Participates in the planning and implementation of the course. Reviews and revises content as necessary. Selects audiovisual materials, references and other appropriate resources to facilitate learning. Prepares, administers and analyzes evaluation methods. Coordinates learning experience with appropriate clinical staff. Consults with area Department Chair. Attends course meetings. Facilitates the activities of skills lab.
Presents in an organized manner. Develops presentation to encompass new concepts, principles, term and clinical application. Presents in an expressive manner encouraging student contributions. Uses a variety of teaching strategies. Implements ongoing assessment of student learning.
Implements clinical instruction facilitating student attainment of expected clinical behaviors. Plans clinical experiences to assist students to achieve course objectives. Supervises students in their implementation of care. Confers with students regarding progress according to established course requirements.
Evaluates student achievement of expected learning behaviors. Provides verbal/written feedback
Supports college operations. Participates in systematic plans of evaluation. Participates in the advisory role for student learning. Attends college functions. Supports college goals. Serves as a member of a committee, sub-committee or task force in addition to College Assembly. Attends college educational programs.
Other Job-Related Information:

OB experience is needed for clinicals with students. Will need to do two evening clinicals with students plus a day of other student work needs like grading, proctoring tests, skills lab help, meetings.
