Good Samaritan Hospital seeks to hire Nursing Students to work as Patient Care Assistants and start their career at TriHealth. Nursing Students provide assistance and/or performs basic activities of daily living and specified treatments and procedures under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse. May perform non-direct patient care activities as assigned, requested, or directed.

We have openings available in multiple units including:

• Med/Surg
• Telemetry
• Stepdown
• Behavioral
• Neuro

Minimum Requirements:

• Education: High School Degree or GED. Completion of Nursing Student Clinical Training and should be currently enrolled in nursing school.
• Licensure/Certification: Current nursing student with first round of clinical rotation completed in Med/Surg (verification from school will be required). BLS/CPR (Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers) - training will be provided upon hire.
• Experience: PCA experience preferred but not required.
• Specialized Knowledge: Reading and math ability appropriate to the position.
