Trident Veterinary Hospital, a new, state-of-the-art facility, is seeking a Veterinary Technician, Veterinary Assistant, and Reception to join our team. As a family-owned and operated hospital, we are dedicated to providing compassionate care and exceptional service to our patients and clients.

Technician

Performance Responsibilities:

• Venipuncture and catheter placement
• Radiology, anesthesia monitoring, surgical preparation, and patient recovery
• Physical examinations and patient assessments
• Dentistry, laboratory work, and pharmacy duties
• Provide compassionate care for hospitalized patients
• Administer oral and injectable medications

Requirements:

• Licensed Veterinary Technician in the state of California a plus
• Proficiency in medical math and record-keeping
• Lift and carry animals (assisted for animals over 40 lbs)
• Work in a team environment and teach others
• Willing to take on leadership roles
• Punctual and self-motivated

Veterinary Assistant

Responsibilities:

• Restrain sick and sometimes frightened animals
• Assist in imaging and diagnostics
• Assist in daily kennel and facility operations
• Feed, water, and provide husbandry for hospitalized patients
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Requirements:

• Professional, reliable, punctual, and motivated
• Experience in animal care is a plus but not required

Client Service Representative

Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service to our clients, both in person and over the phone
• Schedule appointments and manage the front desk operations
• Handle client inquiries and ensure a positive client experience
• Utilize Navetor software for client records and appointment scheduling
• Assist in the growth of the hospital by promoting services and generating client leads
• Collaborate with other departments and provide support as needed

Requirements:

• Strong communication skills and professionalism
• Ability to de-escalate potential conflicts and handle difficult situations with grace
• Proficiency with computers and willingness to learn Navetor software
• Punctuality and reliability in work attendance
• Works well with others
• Familiarity with merchant services preferred but not required
• Understanding of basic medical terminology preferred, but not required
