Trident Literacy Association is Hiring a Child Care Worker Near Charleston, SC

About us

Trident Literacy Association is a small business in North Charleston, SC. We are social, supportive, inclusive and our goal is to Trident Literacy Association provides educational opportunities for adults. We focus on Adult Basic Education, English as a Second Language, and Workforce Development programs..

Duties:

- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in your care
- Implement age-appropriate activities to promote learning and development
- Supervise children during playtime and snack

-Assist children during toileting
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the childcare area
- Assist with behavior management and discipline as needed
- Collaborate with other childcare providers to ensure a positive and inclusive environment

Skills:
- Caregiving: Experience in providing physical care, diapering, and comforting children
- Behavior management: Skill in addressing challenging behaviors and promoting positive behavior choices
- Babysitting: Proficiency in providing occasional care for children on an as-needed basis

We are looking for dedicated individuals who are passionate about working with children. If you have experience in childcare or related fields, possess strong communication skills, and enjoy creating a fun and educational environment for young learners, we encourage you to apply.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 – 16 per week
