A nationwide construction provider is looking for dependable, hard-working construction manager in the Phoenix area. This individual must be energetic, motivated, organized, and eager to learn. The Construction Manager would provide a point of contact for clients and subcontractors to ensure that construction projects are integrated and performed in a timely manner to achieve successful completion.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
Perform pre-construction duties; attend meetings with owner/clients.
Manage day-to-day field operations from project assignment to completion.
Schedule subcontractors to maximize efficiency of projects.
Perform estimates independently as needed.
Troubleshoot issues by phone and on-site.
Professionally communicate and maintain good relationships with clients and staff alike.
Evaluate the quality of repairs completed by subcontractors.
Maintain regular verbal and written reports to upper management, general manager, and other team members.
Requirements:
Minimum of one years' experience in a construction management type role.
Knowledge and understanding of the construction field.
An energetic, committed, organized individual is a must.
Must be able to use devices such as a computer and/or tablet.
Good writing and communication skills.
Positive can-do attitude with a strong work ethic and willingness to be a part of a fantastic team.
Ability to motivate and lead subcontractors.
Valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle.
