Our greatest asset has been, and will always be, our people! We are looking for a motivated individual to fill the position of HR Coordinator in our global headquarters based in Houston, Texas. We offer a hybrid-work schedule along with tremendous room for development within a growing team and company.

Responsibilities 

• Develop and facilitate recruitment processes for the Houston office (and potentially other offices in time)
• Collaborate with business managers to update and/or create accurate job descriptions
• Identify and implement effective recruiting strategies with the head of HR
• Attend career fairs at select universities
• Source candidates for job vacancies
• Screen applications for qualified candidates
• Schedule interviews for qualified candidates with the interview team, serving as the point of contact for candidates
• Collect and compile interview feedback, maintaining accurate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
• Provide interview training for hiring managers
• Lead and improve new hire onboarding and orientation processes
• Communicate Houston-based personnel announcements
• Input and maintain confidential people data in the HRIS
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations
• Consult on general employee relations concerns
• Develop and coordinate training initiatives and team-building activities for the Houston office
• Assist the HR team with ad hoc processes and projects as required

Experience & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
• 2 years of HR-related experience required
• PHR or SHRM-CP certification a plus

• Proficiency in multiple languages a plus
• Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
• High attention to detail
• Strong organization, prioritization, and follow-through skills
• Demonstrated sense of urgency working in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Experience with BambooHR or other HRIS a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
