Job Title: Provider Scheduling Assistant
Weekly Hours: Full Time, Remote
Supervised by: Manager, Administrative Operations

Location: Parkside OB-GYN, Verdae
Position Overview: Coordinates with Provider Scheduling team to be sure that all aspects of the providers’ schedules are organized, accurate, and updated in a timely manner. Responsible for loading templates into EMR, cross checking for accuracy between schedule programs, and updating provider PTO. Will assist as time allows with implementing schedule changes and annual goals pertaining to Provider Scheduling.
Responsibilities:
1. Load monthly provider templates in ECW, assist with general template updates and changes including PTO requests, maintain ECW schedule integrity

2. Work in tandem with Provider Scheduling team on extra ongoing projects as needed or assisting urgent daily tasks as needed

3. Create reports, including capacity reports 5%
4. Transfer monthly on-call calendars to Surgery Scheduler and Patewood Hospital 5%
Education & Certifications:

• High School Diploma or GED

Skills & Experience:

• Exceptional attention to detail
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Working knowledge of Excel
• Must be in current position for one year to be considered for this position

Work environment and Physical Demands: Requires sitting, standing, and walking associated with a normal physician office environment. Person may be exposed to fumes, airborne particles, infectious diseases, blood/bodily fluids, and disease-bearing specimens.
