TRC’s Camp Coordinator is directly involved and responsible for the fulfillment and execution of all TRC Climbing Camps. The Camp Coordinator is a support role under the Programs Manger and must have a constant awareness for risk management and delivering a phenomenal customer service experience for all guests, with an emphasis on campers and their families.
The Camp Coordinator will: oversee program and curriculum development; meet sales and marketing goals; be responsible for the creation of new community relationships and the education of TRC camps, products, and services to new and returning customers; continue growing camp revenue.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to –

• Improving sales and marketing efforts
• Execution of all TRC Track Out and Summer Camp programs
  • Ensure that the camp goal and philosophy are realized in every camp
  • Building relationships with camp parents through intentional interactions and outreach
  • Oversee camp staff: communicate daily schedule, professional development, and delegation of tasksActively engage with counselors and campers during camp hours, ensuring that camp is running smoothly
  • Continually develop camp curriculum, long term camp goals, and staff training
• Any and all tasks as requested by Programs Manager, Club Director, or other Management Staff
• Assist with Front Desk operations as needed (in lieu of Floor Staff)

REQUIREMENTS & PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma or GED and 2 years’ experience in youth camp programming. BA in Recreation, Outdoor Recreation Management, Education or equivalent in experience is preferred.
• Extensive background in customer service and customer facing roles.
• Extensive background in teaching youth (preferably in a camp or classroom context).
• Demonstrated passion for the sport of climbing.
