We are seeking a well-organized individual with experience in Home Textile/ Apparel to join our growing team in the product development and production department. Candidate will work closely with our overseas partners, sales and design team to ensure all product development and production processes are executed to meet company’s directives and deadlines.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Manage, collaborate, and coordinate all aspects of product development and production
• Communicate daily with overseas partners and vendors to track and ensure samples meet product requirements and maintain up-to-date status
• Act as liaison between sales, design team and suppliers to support retailer-specific programs
• Serve as point of contact for communication with vendors with regard to all sample developments and production scheduling.
• Track and manage product samples, including checking in, maintaining sample storage and scheduling approval meetings
• Create and update and ensure accuracy of spec sheets / product line sheets
• Review lab dips, PP and TOP Samples
• Provide support to the Creative team by reviewing product images accuracy and update photos if needed
• Coordinate sample arrangements with the warehouse and photo studio department to ensure all products are cataloged in a timely manner
• Monitor closely the production for all open orders to ensure all aspects of production are properly executed in adherence with the required ship date, quality on a daily basis
• Ensure and maintain the color standard matching records from L/Ds, S/Os through production dye lots, construction of the goods, and all details on each SKU

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Merchandising, Business, Textiles or Product Development/ Production preferred
• 2 years of experience in textile or apparel industry in product development or production
• Proficient in all aspects Microsoft Office (Excel/ Powerpoint)
• Knowledge of textiles
• Understanding of home decor, apparel/fashion, color, product development and production process
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Self Motivated, detail-oriented and highly organized
• Bluecherry / EPR experience a plus

Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
