General Summary: Maintenance Technician

· Maintains and repairs various types of equipment (conveyor belts, chain and belt driven components, etc.)

· Ability to troubleshoot various types of automated manufacturing equipment

· Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical and PLC controlled equipment

· Ability to read and understand electrical drawings

· Experience and/or training in hydraulic and pneumatic systems

· Understand and troubleshoot 3 phase motor controls

· Ability to use a multi-meter to test and troubleshoot 24 VDC, 120 VAC, and 480VAC 3phase power circuits

· Ability to cut and weld steel is preferred

· All other duties as requested or assigned

· Work is primarily outdoors in all weather conditions

Skills and Abilities

· Prioritize SAFETY first, then QUALITY and PRODUCTION

· Experience working in heavy machinery industries and/or working with various levels of automated equipment

· Must be able to stand, stoop, bend, climb and lift 50 lbs.

· Must be able to work both days or night shift

· Other duties as assigned
