Triad Metals International is Hiring a CNC /Robotic Plasma Automated Beam Line Machine Operator Near Petersburg, VA

Job Title: CNC /Robotic Plasma Automated Beam Line Machine Operator Established in 1987, Triad Metals International is a privately held, independent company that has grown to become one of the premier distributors of structural steel, tubing, piling, and plate products. We are looking to hire this Machine Operator to join our team in Petersburg, Virginia!A CNC Operator is responsible for cutting and processing material by operation of CNC machine such as Robotic Beam Line machine according to project specifications. The ideal candidate will have 1-plus year of CNC machine experience with CNC type machines. Training offered for the right candidate.Successful Candidates will be expected to:

Operate CNC machines.
Produce quality parts in conformity to project drawings and specifications.
Load/unload equipment with material manually and through the use of overhead crane.
Operate machinery according to manufacturers’ guidelines and company policy.
Set up and run projects in the most effective and efficient manner.
Verify measurements of cut material.
Review project specifications to determine machine setup procedure, machine sequencing, and dimensions are accurate.
Ensure safe working practices are followed.
Perform daily preventative maintenance
Keep equipment and work area clean and orderly.
Perform operator maintenance as scheduled.
Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
Perform other duties as needed.

Qualifications/Required Experience:

High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred
1 or more years of CNC machine experience working on CNC type machines is preferred
Must be able to stand, bend, walk, and life 50 lbs. for up to 10 hours per day, when necessary
