Project Estimator

Duties:

- Analyze project plans and specifications to determine the scope of work and materials required
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for labor, materials, and equipment
- Collaborate with project managers and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimating purposes
- Review and evaluate subcontractor bids and proposals
- Identify potential risks and opportunities for cost savings or value engineering
- Create detailed project budgets and cost breakdowns
- Present estimates to clients and participate in negotiations
- Maintain accurate records of estimating activities

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field (preferred)
- Proven experience as a Project Estimator in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and costs
- Proficient in using estimating software and tools
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in estimating costs
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
