Job Duties

• Assist and observe lead technicians with test cell installations, repairs, and modifications. Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions from supervisor, project leader, and lead technicians.
• Job duties can include welding (Tig-Mig-Stick all used) and fabrication, plumbing, electrical tasks (under 24 volts), automotive mechanics, and use of computer for testing.
• Operate test cell dynos, emissions equipment, and data acquisition system for testing, training provided.

Requirements

• Hs Diploma/Equivalent
• 2 years' experience in automotive industry required.
• 0 years' experience with vocational degree in automotive or fabrication field
• Basic skills and knowledge of hand tools, power tools, automotive principles, equipment, processes and materials in the automotive field
• Familiarity with plumbing, fabrication, and welding a plus
• Ability to interpret and work from verbal and written instructions.
• knowledge of safety rules and procedures and ability to follow them.
• Basic computer skills
• Must be willing to lean new tasks that involve necessary job duties.
• Must be reliable and flexible with schedule, willing to work shift work, weekends, or overtime when project required.
