Position Summary

This position requires a highly organized individual who possesses strong initiative and has the ability to complete multiple projects in a deadline driven environment. This individual must be able to communicate effectively and understands the need to work in an integrated manner with other members of the department in furtherance of goals, objectives, and knowledge.


Job Essentials, Responsibilities, Duties

  • Monitor the accounting and business operations of Client entities, including the production of periodic financial reports for family office
  • Maintain an adequate system of accounting records and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk and enhance the accuracy of reported financial results
  • Oversee day-to- day financial management related to Operations performed by Accounting teams
  • Provide leadership in financial functions including financial and operational control; business integration; planning, forecasting and analysis; cash flow; taxes; and corporate development
  • Help drive the performance, strategic planning and growth orientation of the business
  • Follow and adhere to business management related policies and procedures
  • Review and summarize Client agreements
  • Performance of Client Risk Assessment and Financial Planning
  • Review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP
  • Work collaboratively to develop and/or improve systems, processes, controls, and procedures that will improve the overall efficiency of the firm and ensure excellent client service
  • Possess a willingness to take on new tasks; general attitude that no task is too small, impossible, or cannot be improved.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced organization and demonstrated ability to work autonomously while ensuring CEO expectations are readily met and exceeded
  • Work in a hands-on fashion to lead accounting and financial reporting within the family office
  • Focus on the firms’ systems, accounting, control, and service matters in integrating businesses
  • Assess and build a high-performance team and growth culture based on providing value to our clients

Qualifications

  • BS Accounting, Finance, Economics
  • 8-10 years of Family Office, Financial Services, or Business Management Experience
  • CPA or similar designation required
  • Strong academic record
  • Experience in managing several concurrent projects for
  • Knowledge of QuickBooks
  • Knowledge of ERP Systems
