Tri-Star Academy is hiring Part time positions throughout our organization. Our centers are located in Jermyn, Blakely, Jessup, and Archbald. Most positions are part-time, however, full-time positions are available depending on location.

We are looking to hire part time individuals to assist with covering breaks and working in a classroom with children in the afternoon. Hours are 10:00am-5:30pm Monday through Friday and 2:30pm-5:30pm Monday through Friday

Great experience for college students working towards an education in Early Childhood or Human Services Field.

- Provide childcare and supervision for children in a safe and nurturing environment
- Plan and engage in age-appropriate activities to promote learning and development
- Prepare meals and snacks for children
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom
- Ensure the well-being and safety of all children in your care
- Communicate with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns

Duties:
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing age-appropriate lesson plans and activities
- Provide support to children with special needs, including those with autism or other developmental challenges
- Foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment that promotes social-emotional growth and positive behavior
- Collaborate with the lead teacher to create engaging and interactive learning experiences
- Assist with daily routines such as mealtime, naptime, and toileting
- Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise
- Support the lead teacher in maintaining a clean and organized classroom environment
- Assist with lesson planning, including preparing materials and resources

Experience:
- Previous experience working with children, preferably in an early childhood education setting
- Knowledge of early childhood development principles and practices
- Familiarity with literacy education strategies for young learners
- Experience working with children with special needs is highly desirable
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with colleagues, parents, and caregivers
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic classroom environment
