Tri Pointe Connect, the mortgage affiliate of Tri Pointe Homes is looking for an experienced, enthusiastic individual to join our talented group as a Loan Processing Team Lead.
Position Highlights: The Processing Team Lead works closely with homebuyers, loan consultants/officers, and underwriters to facilitate the gathering and processing of documentation necessary to get approved for a mortgage loan. A Loan Processing Team Lead plays a key role in helping homebuyers realize their dream of homeownership. This includes possessing the knowledge and attention to detail to review critical documents relating to income and assets such as paystubs, tax returns, bank statements, credit reports, and other key documents applicable to the mortgage transaction. A processing team lead possesses strong underwriting analytical skills including calculating income on tax returns, analyzing credit, and the ability to review and disposition other critical documentation to the mortgage transaction. In addition, the Processing Team Lead works with the Sr. Loan Processors and Loan Processors on difficult loans, structuring loans appropriately to meet underwriting guidelines, provide troubleshooting and scenarios to aid in training. The Processing Team Lead will carry an active pipeline with lower volume than the Sr. Loan Processor or Loan Processor. The Processing Team Lead will assist with overall team pipeline management, branch status calls, and workload balancing to ensure all signing/closing dates are met.
