Software EngineerOur Thousand Oaks development center is looking for a Software Engineer to help us maintain and enhance our extensive line of internal business applications as well as our customer-facing websites. Working with analysts and other engineers, you will help design and create new applications and features as well as help maintain existing code for our web and server-based applications using C#, HTML, Vue, and JavaScript.

Essential Duties:1. Full-Stack Development:
• Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end solutions using the .NET stack (C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core).
2. Agile Methodology:
• Actively participate in Agile processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
3. Remote Collaboration:
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with remote team members using video conferencing, chat, and project management tools.
4. Code Review:
• Engage in regular code reviews to ensure code quality, adherence to coding standards, and knowledge sharing within the team.
5. Testing and Quality Assurance:
• Write unit tests and participate in test-driven development.
• Collaborate with QA team members to identify and address bugs.
6. Front-End Development:
• Develop responsive and intuitive user interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and relevant frameworks.
7. Back-End Development:
• Implement server-side logic and database interactions using .NET technologies (e.g., Entity Framework, SQL Server).
8. API Development:
• Design and implement RESTful APIs for seamless communication between front-end and back-end components.
9. Version Control:
• Use version control systems (e.g., Git) to manage and track changes to the codebase.
10. CI/CD Implementation:
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment processes.
11. DevOps Collaboration:
• Collaborate with DevOps team members to optimize the development and deployment processes.
12. Documentation:
• Create and maintain documentation for code, APIs, and system architecture as needed.
13. Problem Solving:
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues in both front-end and back-end components of the application.
14. Scalability and Performance Optimization:
• Optimize code and system architecture for scalability and performance.
15. Security Best Practices:
• Implement security best practices in both front-end and back-end development.
16. On-Site Meetings:
• Attend occasional on-site meetings, collaborating with team members and stakeholders in person.

• Good written and verbal communication skills.

• Able to participate in sprint planning and tracking in accordance with project plans and management directives.
• Experience in agile development methodology preferred.
• Organized and able to work with minimal supervision.
