Local family run demolition company looking to hire Demolition laborers and torch cutters for up coming projects located in the Pa. Md. Metro areas. Ideal candidates can perform with confidence the following tasks with minimal supervision/ direction
Work from varying heights up to 75ft on ladders, scaffolding, scissors lifts,boom lifts. Safely operate both gas/ diesel powered tools/ equipment. Understand general Demolition procedures and the ability to improvise/ think on your feet and adjust to various job tasks as assigned by supervision. Ability to determine nonferrous from ferrous metals, wire, copper, brass etc. Must have a valid Pa. DL no felonies in last 3 years no DUI/DWI in last 2 years. Be able to work 40 hours per week and be willing to travel within a 75 mile radius of the York/ Harrisburg metro areas. Pay TBD but generally in the $15-23/hr. Range

Operation for an experienced torch cutter. Candidates considered for this position will have a minimum of 2 years verifiable torch cutting experience either from within the industry or industry and educational experience combined but not less than 1 year of verifiable field experience. Ideal candidate will be able to cut a minimum or 4 to 6 tons per shift of various ferrous metals consisting of but not limited to RR/ Beams/ mobile and non mobile equipment/ tanks and misc. Non ferrous metals. Must have a valid Pa. DL no felonies in last 3 years no DUI/DWI in last 2 years. Pay to be determined based upon abilities displayed at time of interview.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
