In short, we strive to provide optimal health across the lifespan for the populations we serve.Job DescriptionWhat you will do:Lead the Tri-County Health Department Nurse Support Program in Arapahoe County. The Nurse Support Program Activities include:supervising the public health nurses providing home visitation to families referred by Arapahoe County Human Services.managing county contractual deliverables.promoting comprehensive public health nursing interventions for families in crisis.coordinating community partnerships to improve services for children and youth with special health care needs.participating in contractual planning and home visitation programming.QualificationsEducation and Experience:Requires a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in nursing from an accredited college or university. Requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or 3 years and a Master’s degree, or a PhD without experience, or equivalent work experience.Demonstrated experience in supervision, preferably Reflective Supervision practiceDemonstrated experience leading effective teamsRelated experience working with multi-disciplinary partners, agencies or programsKnowledge of:Reflective Supervision or operative coaching skillsPrinciples of nursing practiceHome visitation practicesComprehensive knowledge of community-based resources and supportsPrinciples of program planning including quality improvement design and monitoringProgram management including contract deliverables, billing and invoicingPrinciples and practices of multi-agency collaboration and contractual agreementsComputer applications used in data collection andfunctional analysis of health data.Special Qualifications:A valid Colorado Driver’s License with daily access to a reliable and insured vehicle.Additional InformationSalary Range: $38.55 - $48.20/hourTri-County Health Department (TCHD) values and welcomes people of all ages; ethnicities; genders; gender identities/expressions and sexual orientations; languages spoken; nationalities and cultures; physical, mental, and developmental abilities; races; religions; and, socio-economic, insurance, and immigration status.
