Tri County Disposal is Hiring an Equipment Operator Near Helena, MT

Job Overview:

This is a 10-hour shift Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday.
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Equipment Operator to join our team. As an Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating different pieces of equipment at the Valley View Landfill.

Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate heavy equipment according to project requirements
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functionality
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment
- Transport materials and equipment to designated areas as needed
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects within specified timelines
- Adhere to project plans and specifications to meet quality standards
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding project progress

Qualifications:
- Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as a 308, dozer, scraper, bulldozers, grader, backhoes, and front loaders.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Strong knowledge of equipment operation techniques and safety procedures
- Ability to read and interpret project plans and specifications
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Physical stamina to withstand long hours of standing, bending, and lifting
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
