JOB DESCRIPTION: Community Liaison develops, plans and coordinates community-based activities, establishes and maintains relationships with community partners, and identify opportunities for youth and families to gain experience and exposure to new activities and resources.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES:

• Establish positive and trusting relationships within the community
• Educate and involve local government, community agencies, school and grassroots organization in programming as necessary
• Collaborate with outside agencies to establish and maintain partnerships
• Assist with developing, implementing and maintaining a smooth referral process
• Maintain neat and organized client files and workspace
• Participate in weekly supervision and staff meetings
• Assist with outreach efforts
• Attend all community meetings and provide presentation and information regarding programming

• Minimum of a high school diploma, Associate degree in human services or other related field
• Minimum of one-year experience working in the human services or counseling field
• Computer literate and proficient in using applicable software
