Tri Counties Bank is Hiring a Data Center Tech Intern Near Chico, CA

Location: Chico, CA

Hours: 30-40 hours per week, Monday through Friday

Internship Duration: Approximately 3 months between May and August

Hiring Rate: $17/hour

POSITION SUMMARY

The Data Center Tech intern will provide support to the IT Operations department. The Intern will likely have the opportunity to work with other Technology departments at the bank.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

Work on monitors, switches, routers, and other technical equipment.
Cabling and Networking troubleshooting
Interface with internal Customers to solve system issues.
Problem-solving skills to provide solutions for any issues with operating systems.
Server room hygiene, Racking/Mounting, decommissioning hardware
Moving or migrating hardware/applications
Analysis, critical thinking, and multitasking

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND OTHER SKILLS REQUIRED

High school diploma or GED required, unless age 18.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

May be required to lift up to 50 pounds.
